Meet Your First Privacy Act Obligation in the Next 60 Seconds
Answer a few short questions. Get a ready-to-publish privacy policy draft — including the APP 1.3 automated decision-making disclosure — free, with no account required.
Under APP 1.3 of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), an entity covered by the Act must have a clearly expressed, up-to-date privacy policy, available free of charge. From 10 December 2026, that policy must also disclose any use of automated decision-making, under the APP 1.3 amendment. This generator produces a draft covering both — the content APP 1.4 requires, plus the ADM disclosure if it applies to you.

Frequently asked questions
Can I really become compliant with a free 60-second tool?
This tool closes one obligation — a published APP 1.3 privacy policy — in about 60 seconds. It does not make you compliant with APP 2 (offering anonymity) or APP 3 (collecting only what's reasonably necessary), which depend on your actual business practices, not a document.
Does this policy include the automated decision-making disclosure?
Yes, if you tell the generator you use an automated or AI-assisted decision-making system. From 10 December 2026, APP 1.3 requires this disclosure. If you don't use one, the draft includes a statement that you don't, so it stays accurate either way.
Is the generated policy hosted anywhere, or does it stay up to date automatically?
No. The free generator produces a one-time draft you copy or download — it isn't hosted at a persistent URL and won't update itself. The Complete workspace hosts your policy at a live URL, keeps a version history, and updates your ADM disclosure automatically when you add a new system to your inventory.
